Details of Musical Concert By Smt.P.Suseela On 10th Feb
Details Of Grand Musical Program by Kala Prapoorna Smt.P.Suseela accompanied by Nandi Award Winner Mr.B.Vinod Babu and Party’s Orchestra “Sangeetah Sitara” from Hyderabad
The Great Musical Concert on 10th Feb was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp by Chief Guest of the evening Dr.Abdul Rehman Al-Awadhi, Executive Secretary-Regional Organisation for Environmental Protection and former minister, Govt. of Kuwait. It was followed by signing of national anthems of the two great nations Kuwait and India. President Dr.D.Veeranna in welcome address expressed happiness for being able to organize this musical concert by the beloved singer Smt.P.Susheela. He thanked the Chief Guest Dr.Awadhi and Special Guest of the evening Mr. Mr.Swashpawan Singh, Indian Ambassador to Kuwait for gracing the occasion in spite of their busy schedule. He expressed his gratitude to all the sponsors without whose support, a function of this nature would not have been possible. He specially appreciated the gesture of Air-India, UAE Exchange, City International Exchange, Al Waseet Tours & Travels Al-Mullah International Exchange and others who could attend the function in spite of busy business hours.
Dr.Awadhi dwelt at length on the age-old relations between the two nations, citing his personal experiences. Mr.Swashpawan Singh appreciated the initiative TKS to invite Dr.Awadhi as chief guest for the function and thanked Dr.Awadhi for the sentiments expressed by him. He expressed that participation of Kuwaiti dignitaries in functions like this will go a long way in understanding the cultures of each other and strengthening the bonds between the two nations. He expressed happiness that Indian population is making great contribution to the economic development of Kuwait.
Dr.Awadhi felicitated the singer Smt.P.Susheela by presenting a shawl and memento. He presented mementos to Sangeetha Sitara orchestra team members Mr.Vinod Babu, Mr.Raman Bharadwaj, Ms.Pavani, Mr.Shiva Shankar, Mr.Mohan, Mr.Prakash and Mr.Prashanth. The ambassador presented memento to Dr.Awadhi.
A Souvenir was brought out in honor of the artist of the evening Smt.P.Susheela. The Souvenir was released the Ambassador Mr.Swashpawan Singh. Smt.P.Susheela presented copies of the Souvenir to some of the Sponsors present in the function.
The stage was all set for the grand musical feast. A large gathering of more than 1200 people enjoyed the musical feast. Smt.Susheela sang the melodious songs from old films. The versatile artist Nandi Award Winner Mr.Vinod Babu sang new and old songs with equal ease apart from playing keyboard. Ms Pavani entertained the gathering with old and new songs alike. Mr.Raman Bharadwaj enthused the crowd with his unique style in singing latest songs. Elders as well as children moved on to the dais and started dancing to the songs of Raman. The team entertained the gathering for more than four hours. The program ended with vote of thanks by Jt.Secretary Mr.M.Suresh Babu.
